Sexual violence among male sexual minority college students in Guangdong, China: a cross-sectional study

Abstract This study aims to provide an estimate of lifetime sexual violence (SV) among male minority college students with differing orientations and contribute the evidence base on association between SV experience, stress, depressive symptoms. The data stemmed from 2019 Internet Survey HIV/AIDS Sexual Health in Colleges Universities Guangdong province, China. Lifetime victimisation (including non-sexual harassment, physical contact rape), level symptoms were examined 1441 37 colleges universities province. Linear regression analyses adopted examine associations independent variables 23.4% (337/1441) participants reported non-contact while 8.8% (127/1441) 2.4% (35/1441) harassment rape, respectively.
